Stanwell Park Public School was established in 1917 and serves a small community in a northern beachside suburb of Wollongong.
The school has grown over the last ten years but retains the friendly close-knit atmosphere often characteristic of a smaller school. The community and its school have high expectations for students and value the provision of a learning environment that is rich in varied experiences across all areas of endeavor.
In 2018 we have 164 students from 116 families. There are 7 classes.
The school motto, "Believe to Achieve," underpins the programs and practices of the school and supports the school aim, which is to strive for excellence through a wealth of experience.
Stanwell Park PS has a warm, caring and friendly atmosphere. The beautiful surrounds are complemented and enhanced by a strong community link that jointly supports highly successful programs in literacy, numeracy, student welfare, music, technology and sport. These outstanding learning programs are planned and implemented by the highly dedicated, experienced teaching staff working in a team environment.
