Over the last few weeks, Kindergarten have been watching, making, tasting and eating many different types of food. We have read procedures about how to make toast, jelly and playdough and of course ate them as well. (Not the playdough, it had too much salt in it.) During Week 4 we even became a bakery and baked our own bread in class. We ate that too! We learnt about the difference between a fruit and a vegetable. Did you know that a tomato is a fruit? Kindergarten also became scientists using their senses to explore the taste of sweet, salty and sour foods. Most of all, Kindergarten have been having lots of fun with food in the classroom.
