Our students investigated Chinese culture with a special performance and activity day at school last Tuesday. Students were treated to a special dance performance by a visiting cultural group. The students learnt some Chinese dancing which was linked to various cultural traditions of China. The visiting teacher from Taiwan, Kristina, ensured the students had a great time at the performance.
The day was run by the school in conjunction with the South Coast Chinese Language School which conducts our Mandarin classes for students here at school. The activities link very closely with our HSIE studies on countries and culture.
